AFCAT (IAF) 2017-18 Training Session
- The training scheduled to commence in the 1st week of January 2018 for all courses
- The time duration of the Flying and Ground Duty (Technical) branches is 74 weeks and General Duty (Non-Technical) branches are 52 weeks at Air Force training centres.
Indian Air Force Offers You Pay and Allowances
A flying officer will be entitled to pay in the pay band of Rs.15,600 to 39,100 per month along with grade pay, Military service pay and more facilities. Check more allowance of major cities as follow:
- Flying Branches:- Rs.82,050/-
- Ground Duty (Technical) Branch:- Rs.71,550/-
- Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch:- Rs.68,550/-
Other Benefits
In addition to the pay & allowances officers are entitled to furnished accommodation comprehensive medical cover for self and dependents, the supply of entitled rations, canteen & officers’ mass facilities and much more.
Insurance:- 75 Lakh Insurance cover (on contribution) is applicable to serving officers. Additional cover of 10 Lakh on contribution is applicable to flying branch officers.
Travel Allowance (TA):- To and fro travelling fare by the shortest route of AC-III Tire/AC chair car or actual normal bus fare to the applicants appearing in AFSB for the first time will be reimbursed. www.criteria.in
