AMU 2023 Counseling is going to begin. Aligarh Muslim University conducts university level entrance exam for admission of diligent students in the field of Medicine, Management Studies, Research Agricultural Sciences, Arts, Commerce, Engineering & Technology, Law, Life Sciences and Unani Medicine Science. Admission to some degrees seats will be offered through a national-level entrance exam.

AMU Admission Procedure 2023

• AMU counseling procedure will be organized individually for all offered courses
• On the availability of seats, the counseling will be organized in different rounds.
• Seats will be offered on the basis of students merit rank in the entrance test.
• Counseling will be conducted through both (online & offline) modes according to courses.
• As per the rank, students will be invited to participate in the counseling.
• You need to be there at the counseling venue along with the documents required.
• Counseling procedure comprises online registration, choice filling, document verification, seat allotment and reporting to allotted college.

Online Registration:

• After the announcement of merit list, you need to register on the official website for participating in the counseling rounds.
• Registration can be done through online mode.

Choice filling:

• After the registration process, you will be asked to choose their preference from the available seats.
• You have to choose their preference and lock them.

Document Verification:

• Document verification process will take place at the allotted venue for the confirmation of documents.
• You need to present on prescribed date and time as per their ranks at the counseling venue along with the original documents.
• Without the document verification process, you will not be allowed for further rounds of counseling.

Seat Allotment:

• On verification of the documents, the seats will be allotted to students
• Allocation of seats will be based on students filled choices and their rank.
• If candidates will be allotted the seat then, they will be made available with the provisional seat allotment letter for taking admission in the allotted college.

Reporting to Allotted College:

After the seat allotment process, you need to report to the allotted college with the provisional seat allotment letter for admission.

Fee Submission:

• You have to submit the counseling fee.
• The fee can be submitted in cash or through DD from a Nationalized Bank

Documents Required for Admission

• Two sets of self-attested photocopies.
• Hall ticket and rank card of entrance test
• Intermediate or equivalent qualifying exam mark sheet
• Transfer certificate
• Migration certificate
• Character certificate
• 10th class or equivalent exam certificates for proof of date of birth
• 10 recent passport size color photograph
• Certificates in support of claiming special category
• Admission fee slip or DD
