Assam Rifles Eligibility Criteria 2018
Educational Qualification: The education qualification for the applicants who applying for the compassionate ground appointment is as under:
Group-B Posts Educational Qualification
- Trade-Hindi Translator (Naib Subedar): Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English with Hindi English as a compulsory subject or as medium of examination at degree level
OR
Bachelor’s Degree of recognized University with Hindi and English as compulsory elective subjects or either of two as medium of examination and the other as compulsory/elective subject, plus a recognized diploma/certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in central/state government offices including a government of India undertaking.
- Religious Teacher (Naib Subedar) For Male Only: Graduation with Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhusan in Hindi
- Building & Road (Naib Subedar) For Male only: Matric from a recognized Board or University, Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Staff Nurse (Naib Subedar) Female only: Matriculation, Diploma in Nursing from a recognized Council, must have a working knowledge of Hindi.
Group-C Posts Educational Qualification
- Clerk (Havildar) For Male: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSS) Certificate, Skill Test Norms on Computer.
- Personal Assistant (Warrant Officer) For Male: Intermediate or SSS Certificate, Diploma in Stenographer from a recognized institution, Skill Test Norms on Computer.
- Electrical Fitter Signal (Rifleman) For Male: 10th Class Pass with Science, Math and English
- Lineman Field (Rifleman) For Male: 10th class with ITI certificate in electrician trade
- Radio Mechanic (Warrant Officer): 10+2 Pass or three-year diploma in Radio and Television Technology
- Armourer (Rifleman) For Male: 10th Class Pass
- Engineer Artificer (Rifleman) For Male: 10th class pass with ITI certificate in automobile engineering trade
