Eligibility Criteria and Age limit

Eligibility for B.A. (Hons.) Arts Course

• Education: 10+2 or its equivalent exam with 50% marks in aggregate.
• Age limit: Candidates age should not be more than 22 years on 1^st July 2017

Eligibility for B.A. (Hons.) Social Science

• Education: 10+2 or its equivalent exam with 50% marks in aggregate.
• Age limit: Candidates age should not be more than 22 years on 1^st July 2017

Eligibility for B.Com. (Hons)/B.Com. (Hons.) Financial Markets Management

• Education: 10+2 or its equivalent with commerce/Maths/Economics/Computer, Sc./Financial markets management/Finance as one of the subjects and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate and should have cleared the specified subject.
• Age limit: Candidates age should not be more than 22 years on 1^st July 2017

Eligibility for B.Sc. (Hons.) Maths Group

• Education: 10+2 or its equivalent with physics, mathematics and one of the subjects from chemistry, statistics, geology, computer, science, information technology and geography with 50% score in aggregate.
• Age limit: Candidates age should not be more than 22 years on 1^st July 2017

Eligibility for B.Sc. (Hons.) Bio Group

• Education: 10+2 or its equivalent with physics, chemistry and one of the subjects from geology, biology with 50% marks in aggregate.
• Age limit: Candidates age should not be more than 22 years on 1^st July 2017

Eligibility for Shastri (Hons.)

• Done MADHYAMA exam of BHU/Uttar Madhyama/Madhyama/Upa Shastri/Intermediate or 10+2 or its equivalent with securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• Applicants should have studied Sanskrit as one of the subjects in the mentioned exam.
• Applicants who have done one year duration certificate course in Sanskrit from NHU post completion of class 10+2 or its equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible
• Age limit: Candidates age should not be more than 22 years on 1^st July 2017

Eligibility for B.Ed. and B.Ed. Special Education

• Bachelors and Master’s degree in social science/science/humanities, bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology with specialty in Mathematics and science along with 50% marks.
• Applicants should have studied one of the school subjects such as either at graduation or post-graduation level.
• Age limit: Not specified

Eligibility B.Sc.(Ag)/B.Sc.(Ag)-RGSC

• Education: 10+2 or its equivalent exam in agriculture or science with 50% marks in aggregate.
• Age limit: Candidates age should be less than 16 years and not above than 25 years as on 1^st July 2017

Eligibility for LLB (Hons.) (Bachelor of Laws)

• A./B.Sc./B.Com./Shastri with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or any equivalent course recognized by Bar Council of India (BCI).
