CCSU Eligibility Criteria 2018-19, Admission to each course, except that for certificate and diploma courses, German, Russian, French and Jyotish, shall depend on the merit to be determined by the entrance examination in the manner herein after provided, subject to fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria, provisions regarding weightages to different categories of applicants and reservation of seats.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission through Entrance Exam in various courses

Eligibility for Agriculture M.Phil. Course:

Genetics & Plant Breeding: Master’s degree in Genetics & Plant Breeding or Agriculture Botany or Botany or Biotechnology or Seed Science with 55% scores Bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 55% scores and second division in intermediate (12^th) test, or 50% scores in Bachelor’s degree as well as intermediate exam separately.

Horticulture: Master’s degree in horticulture with 55% scores. Bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 55% scores, and second division in intermediate (12^th) examination, or 50% scores in Bachelor’s degree as well 12^th examination.

Eligibility for Arts M.Phil. Course:

English, Urdu, Economics, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology: Master’s degree in concerned subject with 55% scores. Bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 55% scores including the concerned subject (wherever applicable), and second division in intermediate test, 50% scores in Bachelor’s degree as well as the 12^th exam.

Eligibility for Education M.Phil. Course:

M.Phil. in Education: M.Ed. degree with 55% marks and B.Ed. with 5% marks in theory & practical separately or 55% in aggregate.

M.Phil. in Physical Education: M.P.Ed degree with 55% scores and B.P.Ed. or B.P.E. or B.Sc. Physical education with 50% marks in theory & practical separately or 55% in aggregate.

Eligibility for Science M.Phil Course:

M.Phil. Botany, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology: Master’s degree in the concerned subject with 55% scores. Bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 55% scores including the concerned subject, and second division in 12^th examination or 50% scores in Bachelor’s degree as well as the 12^th exam.

Eligibility for Law LL.M Course: LL.B (3 years/5years course) with 50% scores.

CCSU Entrance Test Application Fee

The fee Rs.700/- for General and OBC, and Rs.500/- for SC/ST applicants for the entrance exam is changed online while filling up the application form through E-payment and no separate fee will be charged for the entrance exam.
