CDSE is a written exam organized two time in a year by Union Public Service Commission. It is meant to select officers for Air Force, Army and Navy. Male and female both can apply for CDS examination and best part is about CDSE is that there is no percentage bar for it. Educational Qualification for CDS-1 Exam
- For Indian Naval Academy:- Candidates must be done Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
- For Indian Military Academy (IMA) and Officer’s Training Academy (OTA):- Candidates passed any Degree of a recognized Institute or University.
- For Air Force Academy:- Candidates must be completed Degree of a recognized University (with Mathematics and Physics at 10+2) or Bachelor of Engineering.

- For General candidates Rs.200/-
- No fee for reserved candidates (SC/ST/Female).
Marital Status
- For Indian Military Academy (IMA), candidates should be: Unmarried
- For Indian Naval Academy (INA), candidates should be: Unmarried
- For Air Force Academy (AFA), candidates should be: Unmarried till 25 years
- For Officers Training Academy (OTA), candidates should be: Married or Unmarried
- For Officers Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Tehcnical courses): Unmarried or Windowed
CDS Exam Admit Card
The admit card will be announced through the online mode only, no admit card will be sent to the applicants via post, in order to download the admit card for CDS 2019, applicants should visit the official portal, for interview/personality test the commission will issue separate admit card.
CDS Exam Answer Key
Applicants can check the answer key released by UPSC after the completion of exam those who successfully appeared in the entrance test.
CDS Exam Result
The exam result is declared in two phases that are written test and SSB interview result, applicants who qualify the written exam will be further called for SSB/personality test.
