Counselling Process of CLAT Exam 2016
- All applicants who have participated in CLAT exam is suggested to indicate His or Her choice of preferred NLU(s) through online counselling available on CLAT official web page.it is mandatory for applicants to indicate their preference for all the including NLUs.
- Depend on the preference indicated by the applicants the 1st indicative seat allocation list will be announced on first June 2016.
- Fee payment for CLAT counselling option by provisionally selected applicants 6th to 10th June 2016.
- Applicants have to Pay of Rs. 50,000 as counselling fees.
- For the counselling fee payment will be required to login their one time login account of their CLAT registration.
- The interested applicants taking admission must deposit the required payment so as to be considered against the seats available with the including NLUs. The applicants failing to submit the required fees by the specified date will lose their right to be considered for admission in CLAT 2016 and their names will be dropped from the CLAT 2016 rank or merit list.
- After completed the process of deposition of counselling payment, the NLU second allotment provisional list will be announced.
- The applicants will be able to exercise their options of either for locking their allotted seat or for further up gradation. Applicants will also has option to withdraw from the admission process at this stage. In case not exercising any of these options, a candidate will be treated to have opted for upgrade option by default, provided he/ she has submit counselling payment.
