GATE Online Application Form Correction 2017 : Dates: The GATE 2017: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is managed by the 7-IITs and IISc on rotation basis. For admission to new session 2017-2018, IIT Roorkee is organizing the GATE examination. The test commences for providing admission to M.Tech or ME programme offered by the NITs, IITs, GFTIs and many private institutions. Applicants may get the direct admission to Ph.D courses through GATE score.

UPDATE: GATE application form correction can be made from 17th to 27th October 2016. Applicants have to send an Email (gateiitr.2017@gmail.com) for minor changes-new

List of Details that can be online corrected

The candidates can make changes in the particular like:

  • Name of applicants
  • Parents name
  • Date of Birth (DOB)
  • Category
  • Education details (Graduation)
  • Year of qualifying degree

List of Details that cannot be corrected

After submission of GATE application Form, candidates cannot make changes in the field of contact number and Email-ID. If applicants have done mistake in their name or guardian name then they can email to the Zonal GATE office.

The IITs Roorkee has given a chance the correction facility from 17th to 27th October GATE application form 2017. Correction in the form is limited to some particulars only provided details above. So applicants are strictly advised to fill all the details carefully in the online form. After submission of online form applicants can check the application status to know whether any correction is needed in the application form or not.
