How to Apply SLET Exam 2023 | Exam date: The State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) accordingly the University Grants Commission (UGC) has been conducting the eligibility Test for assistant professors in Humanities and Social Science subjects. The council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has been conducting the eligibility test for lectureships in Science subjects.
It was subsequently constituted as SLET Commission Assam (N.E. Region). The name of the test has again been modified as SET (State Level Eligibility Test). It member states at present are Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim, and Tripura.

Guideline for filling up the test application form
Step-1:
- Applicants looking admission to the test must apply online mode (www.sletneonline.co.in)
- Before applying online, applicants should keep all the required certificates
- Duly attested M.A/M.Sc./M.Com certificates
- Attested copy of SC/ST/OBC along with non-creamy layer certificate/PWD category certificate, if applicable, from authorized person should be uploaded
- Upload you scanned photo & signature
- Before submitting the form, applicants will get a chance to modify his/her application details.
- Once submitted, portal will generate a unique application-ID
- Once an applicant’s completes the application submission process, the applicant can print the acknowledgement slip for future reference
Step-2: Note Down your registration no for future reference
Step-3: Download the challan copy
Step-4: After two days of completing online application form, please deposit your examination the fee in any State Bank of India Brach
Step-5: Take printout of your submitted application form, after two days from the day of Deposit the fee.
