Application form IIST 2017 Exam| UG & PG courses| Ph.D| Time Table

IIST application form for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and Ph.D programmes will be check and download from the official stream of IIST.

Application form Undergraduate Course:

Applicants who have interested for UG courses, they will get the online application form on the 1^st week of June 2017 (tentative).  Closing date to fill form will be 3^rd week of June 2017. Before online registration, applicants have their Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)- Main & Advanced 2017 Roll No., and Valid Email ID.

Application form Postgraduate Courses:

Applicants who have interested for PG courses, they will get the online application form on the 1^st week of May 2017 (tentative). Applicants who want to apply for the PG programmes can bring the printout copy of the completed from at the time of written exam or interview.

Application form Ph.D Courses:

Application form for Ph.D programmes will be organized in two times within a year. First is January month and second is July session. Application form for January 2017 session will available in the 1^st week of November 2016.

The eligibility conditions to get admissions in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Details are mentioned below. Only Indian Citizen can also apply.

Minimum Qualification:

Applicants who want to get admission in IIST UG courses, they have to qualify their qualifying exam with PCM- (Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics). They have to obtain at least 70% or 60% for SC, ST or PWD marks.

• General Applicants:- Secure at least 20% marks in aggregate and at least 5% score in each of the 3 subjects- Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
• SC or ST or PWD applicants:- Secure at least 10% scores in aggregate and at least 2.5% score in each of the 3 subjects- Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
• OBC (Non Creamy Layer):- Secure at least 18% marks in aggregate and at least 4.5% score in each of the 3 subjects- Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.

For Postgraduate (PG) courses:- Applicants have to pass their BE or B.Tech or M.Sc/M.S. or equivalent degree in first class with an aggregate at least 60% scores or CGPA 6.5 out of 10.A valid score is applicable in JEST/Gate/ UGC Net in relevant area.
