Applicants applying for JEE Main exam 2019 will have to fill the online application form latest by 2nd January 2019. they will have to fill an option called State Code of Eligibility in the online application form for JEE Main 2019.
State Code of Eligibility means the code of the state from where the applicant has passed 12th class equivalent qualifying examination by virtue of which he/she becomes eligible to appear in the JEE Main exam 2019 for Admission to B.E/B.Tech and B.Arch/B.Planning courses of the institutions/colleges of the states/UT.

Applicant passed/appearing 12th class from NIOS should select the state of eligibility according to the state in which the study centre is located. The state of eligibility is not applicable for the applicants belonging to Nepal/Bhutan/Foreign/OCI/PIO.
