Date of Birth JEE 2019 Examination

Number of applicants, whose date of birth (DOB) falls on or after 1st October 1991, are permitted to apply for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2019. However, Age relaxation benefits can be availed by applicants belonging to reserved category such as SC/ST/PWD. They will get relaxation 5 year in age limits.

Education Qualification JEE Main:

  • Applicants must have done 12th standard along with five subjects, those have taken four (4) subjects are not allowed to write JEE Examination.
  • Applicants who have done 12th education or equivalent exam in the year 2015-16 or those are appearing in 2019, are only permitted to apply JEE exam.
  • In such case where a applicants has appeared I 12th education in 2014, didn’t pass in 2017, but cleared in 2015, is not permitted to appear in JEE main 2019 examination.
  • There will be no weightage for senior secondary scores in calculating the ranks in JEE Main examination.
  • Candidates to qualify for admission in NITs, IITs, IIITs and other CFTIs whose admission are basis on JEE Main ranks. They should get at least 75% marks (65% for reserved applicants) in senior secondary standard or be in the top 20 percentile in higher examination.

Number of Attempts in JEE Examination

Applicants can appear in JEE exam maximum three (3) times. State of Odisha, Nagaland and Madhya Pradesh have been introduced in JEE Main exam system from 2014. Last year, these states used to admit students based on state level entrance exam. Age limit and number of include for applicants belonging to aforesaid states will be as per their past practice only.
