JEST 2018 Details : Application Form, Dates, Eligibility, JEST 2018, Joint Entrance Screening Test is organized by several premier research institutes for admission to Ph.D. and Integrated Ph.D. courses in its different participating institutions. JEST is the national level test. The exam is released in the month of February and application form available in the month of November (tentatively).

The JEST exam is held for two subjects only such as-physics and theoretical computer science/computational biology/neuroscience. Eligibility Criteria JEST 2018

Eligibility for Integrated M.Tech-PhD Course at IIA: Applicants must have completed B.Tech/BE/M.Sc Optoelectronics in optics, Radio Physics, Physics (Applied Physics), Electronics.

Eligibility for Integrated Ph.D. Course at IISER, Thiruvananthapuram: Applicants should have completed graduation degree in engineering, physics, technology can apply for Integrated Ph.D. programs in Physics.

Eligibility for Theoretical Neuroscience/Computer Science/Computational Biology: Applicants should have completed M.Sc. or ME or M.Tech or MCA in computer science. Applicants must be done M.Sc. or M.Tech or ME or MCA in any Engg or Science, with some great numerical aptitude at IMSc.

Eligibility for Ph.D. Course in Physics: Applicants have done M.Sc. in Physics or M.Sc. or M.E or M.Tech in related orders. You must have completed M.Sc. in applied Mathematics or Applied Physics or Mathematics or Optics and Instrumentation or Electronics or Photonics will be taken as IIA. B.Tech and BE will be considered at IMSc, IUCAA, IISC, ISTS-TIFR, RRI, IISER Mohali, NCRA-TIFR, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, JNCASR, IISER Pune and TIFR-TCIS, if you are showing up the last year of B.Sc. or giving the first year of M.Sc. in Physics, Astronomy, Applied Mathematics, Electronics are qualified to apply. On the off chance that you have done M.Sc. in applied physics, engg physics or physics then it will be considered at IPR, at TIFR, applicants who have done B.Tech, engineering physics, and M.Sc. physics can apply for this.

Eligibility for Integrated M.Sc./M.Tech-PhD Course: Applicants who have completed B.Sc. that will be considered for the Integrated M.Sc., Ph.D. course in Physics at HRI, SNBNCBS, NCRA-TIFR, ICTS-TIFR, IISER-Pune, TIFR-TCIS. Applicants who have done unhitched bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Computer Science, Statistics, and Engineering IT will likewise be considered for affirmation in Ph.D. physics, Theoretical computer science (a portion of a coordinated Ph.D. course).

JEST 2018 exam result will be announced on the website after some days of the examination. It is expected that the exam result will be announced in the month of March 2018.
