Eligibility Criteria for KDCET 2018

Educational Qualification:

B.E Courses (Day Engineering College)- Applicants who have done any diploma test or equivalent test and obtained an aggregate minimum of 45% score (40% for reserved category like SC/ST/OBC) taken together in all the subjects of the final year 5th and 6th semester diploma examination is eligible for admission to B.E courses.

B.E Courses (Evening Engineering College)

  • Applicants who have done any diploma test or equivalent test and obtained an aggregate 45% score (40% score for SC/ST and OBC) taken together in all the subjects of the final year (5th and 6th semester) diploma examination is eligible for admission to B.E. courses.
  • In addition to this a applicant after done the diploma, must have minimum of two years full-time work experience as on 1st semester 2016, of the year of admission, in a registered firm/company/industry/educational and government autonomous organization in the branch of engineering/ technology, in which the applicants holds a diploma.

Eligibility for B.Arch Courses (Only in Day Engineering College)

Applicant who has done any diploma test or equivalent test and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% scores taken together in all the subjects of the final year (5th and 6th semester) diploma examination is eligible for admission to 1st year B.Architecture course and 45% of scores in qualifying test in case of SC/ST and OBC of Karnataka applicants along with 40% scores in national aptitude test for architecture (NATA).
