Selection process
- University will organize a common entrance test (CET 2019) for admission to the B.Ed (Regular & Distance) programme.
- Admission will be offered on the basis of the merit in the CET 2019.
- Directorate reserves the right to cancel the admission of students at any point if found ineligible.
Eligibility Criteria
Students must satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria before applying for admission.
For B.Ed Distance course:
- Done Graduation/Post-Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks can apply
- An Untrained teacher or trained in-service teachers in Elementary education are also eligible to apply.
- Those who have passed NCTE recognized teacher education program through regular mode may apply.
For B.Ed (Regular) Program
- Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) and/ or Master’s Degree with specializations in Social Sciences/ Sciences/Humanity may eligible to apply.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology in Science and Mathematics scoring 55% marks or any other equivalent qualification are eligible to apply.
Reservation Criteria
Seat reservation and relaxation in the qualifying marks for reserved and other categories will be as per the policies of the Government of Bihar.
