The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced the examination forms for the D.El.Ed on the official portal, the link for which is dled.nios.ac.in. Meanwhile, no offline registration forms will be accepted by the candidates. The examination forms can be submitted at NIOS D.El.Ed portal using the teacher login details.

The online portal has the following logins/registration

Step-1: Registration entry by the untrained teacher

The teacher can register in two different ways- If the Unified District Information System for Education (UDISE) code of the school is available or without UDISE code by giving the school name.

Register with UDISE:

The teacher will register by providing the following information

• Valid Email-ID
• Mobile Number
• Password (minimum 6 characters)
• Confirm password
• UDISE code
• Type of School

Register without UDISE:

The teacher will register by providing the following information

• Email-ID
• Mobile
• State
• District
• School Name
• Aadhar Number
• Password
• Confirm Password
• Type of School

Step-3: Registration verification by the principal of the school

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification required for admission in D.El.Ed (ODL) for untrained in-service teachers is 50% scores in aggregate at Sr. Secondary 12^th class or its equivalent. For SC/ST/OBC/PH applicants a relaxation of 5% marks is admissible.

Those who are not fulfilling the minimum qualification of 50% at 12^th class can take admission in NIOS for improvement under stream-1 or stream-4 as part credit in one subject, 2-subjects, and three subjects or up to four subjects. Successful applicants will be issued only a mark statement.
