Gujral Punjab Technical University is one of the reputed university in India. The university will hold a centralized online counseling for admission into undergraduate & postgraduate courses in the constituent/affiliated institution. The PTU online counseling will be organized in two rounds/phase.
PTU Counselling Scheduled 2017
The PTU counseling registration will be started in the month of June 2017. All applicants who qualified the national level examination such as JEE Main, NATA will participate in the PTU counseling process. The PTU admission 2017 into B.Tech course will be based on the JEE Main Rank. If seats still remain vacant, then the admission into B.Tech program will be based on inter-se-merit of qualifying test.

- Fees submission: Applicants have to submit a counseling fee of Rs.2000 to participated in the PTU counseling. The fees in non-refundable. Fee submission Online mode.
- Online Registration: If you have paid fees, they have to fill the PTU counseling form to appear in the counseling. Applicants have to fill the form carefully no changes will be allowed after the final submission.
- Choice Filling Form: After the successful registration, applicants have to choose & fill the Institution or branches in order of preferences.
- Seat Allotment: after the choice filling time is over, all the registered applicant’s filled choices will be considered for seat allotment. The seat will be allotted. The seat will be allotted on the basis of the merit, preference of choices, applicants category & seat allotment rules permitted by participating universities.
- Result Announcement: Applicants will be informed through SMS in registered mobile number about their seat allotment.
- Reporting in the Allotted college: After seat allotment, applicants have to repot in the allotted college within a given time along with all documents
