Structure of PSTET
- All questions in the PSTET test will be (MCQs)
- Each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be right.
- There will be no negative marking.
There will be two papers of PSTET
- Paper, I will be for a person who desires to be a teacher for classes I to V.
- Paper II will be for a person who plans to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Structure and Content (All Compulsory)
- Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 MCQs & 30 Marks
- Language I: 30 MCQs & 30 Marks
- Language II: 30 MCQs & 30 Marks
- Mathematics: 30 MCQs & 30 Marks
- Environmental Studies: 30 MCQs & 30 Marks
- Total: 150 MCQ and 150 Marks
Application Fees for TET Punjab
- Pay for either Paper I or Paper II
- General category need to pay an estimate application fee of Rs.600/-
- SC/ ST Category/ Differently Abled candidates need to pay Rs.300/-
- The fee can be paid through Challan or Credit/Debit Card.
- Ex-Servicemen need not pay any amount of fees.
Punjab TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- Passed 12th Exam or it’s equivalent with minimum 50% marks
- Applicants should be appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent)
- Those who are appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent)
- Appearing in the final year of 4-year (B.El.Ed), or Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent)
- Passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- Graduation and passed
- Appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
