RRB Group-D Level-1 Exam Syllabus CEN 2-2018, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Group-D Computer Based Test (CBT): All the eligible applicants have to undergo a Computer Based Test on the specified date, time and exam centre as per the E-call letter to download by the applicants from the websites of RRBs.

The information about the E-call letter download shall be communicated through the website as well as personal email communication to the applicants. Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR-40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST-30%. This percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PWD applicants in case of shortage of PWD applicants against vacancies reserved for them.

The questions will be of objective type with multiple choices and are likely to include questions pertaining to:

(1). Mathematics

Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ration and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc.

(2). General Intelligence and Reasoning

Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement-Arguments and Assumptions etc.

(3). General Science

The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Science of 10th Standard level.

(4).General Awareness on current affairs: In Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and any other subjects of importance.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET RRB Group-D Recruitment 2018

Physical Test for Male candidates:

  • Candidates should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down and should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.

Physical Test for Female candidates:

  • Candidates should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down and should be able to run for a distance on 1000meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
