Candidates will be notified of the counseling schedule through the official website of TS PGECET. The counseling for gate/GPAT students and PGECET students will be organized individually. There may be two rounds of TS PGECET 2017 counseling. If seats remain vacant, then the open round will be held on for filling the seats.

TS PGECET Counseling process will comprise of the following steps:

Counseling registration, payment of counseling fee & documents verification –

Students will be called for registration as per their ranks in TS PGECET 2017. Firstly. They have to appear at the notified center, then sign in to register and pay the counseling fee. The counseling fee for SC/ST students will be Rs. 400/- and Rs. 800/- for other category students. Pay the counseling fee and proceed for documents verification verified at help line center before stating the option entry.

Web option Entry – option exercising can be processed from any place having the internet facility. After exercising the option, students will receive the six letter cord password on their registered mobile number. Be careful while filling the option as once you save the option then it cannot be edited/ modified further. Seat Allotment – seat allotment will depend upon the preference of option made the students and rank obtained in TS PGECET 2017. Students can check the result of seat allotment on the official page. Thereafter, he/she can download the provisional allotment letter and report to the respective college. Details related to seat allotment is communicated to the students through SMS. At the time of admission, candidates have to submit their original documents to the allotment institute. The seats that will remain vacant after allotment GPAT/ GATE students will be further filled by TS PGECET 2017 students.

The documents needed at the time of counseling for verification are as follows:

  • SSC Passing certificate
  • GATE score card
  • Transfer certificate
  • Study certificate from SSC to graduation
  • TS PGECET 2017 rank card
  • TS PGECET 2017 Admit card
  • Integrated community certificate in case of BC/SC/ST students.
  • Degree certificate and memorandum of marks of qualifying Examination
  • Minorities – Degree TC containing minority status
  • Aadhaar card
  • Income certificate issued by MRO
  • Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination for a student who has competed for their graduation through private study without any institutionalized education.
  • Residence certificate of father or mother for a period of 10 years in Telangana/ A.P. excluding the period of their employment outside Telangana/A.P. from M.R.O. in the case of students who studied outside the state of Telangana/AP.
  • Residence certificate from MRO for a period of 10 years of either parent for non-locals.
