Age limit
Applicant’s age should have between 21 to 28 years, as on 1st July 2016.
Age for OBC candidates:- 21 to 33 years.
Age for SC/ST candidates:- 21 to 33 years.
Eligibility Criteria for UP Police SI 2016
Education Qualification:
For Fire Service Officer:- Any Graduation Degree in Science from any recognized university or any equivalent qualification approved by government.
For SI (Civil Police) & Platoon Commander PAC:- Any Graduation Degree from any recognized university or any equivalent qualification approved by government.

Pay Scale for Recruitment
For Sub Inspector (SI) Male:- Rs. 9,300-34,800 with grade Rs. 4,200/-
For Sub Inspector (SI) Male:- Rs. 9,300-34,800 with grade Rs. 4,200/-
Physical Test & Measurement Test:-
Height for Male applicants: 168 cm. (160 cm for ST category).
Height for Female applicants: 152 cm. (147 cm only for ST category).
Chest for Male applicants: 79 cm (Phulaw 5 cm). 77 cm for ST category.
