In line with the guiding sprint of One University one UP, and the university’s commitment to high standards of academic excellence, theses programs require qualification through the UP College admission test ((UPCAT). For SY 2018-19, UP welcome the first batch of freshmen who will continue to university after the full implementation of Senior High School.

(1). Admission through the UPCAT: Qualifying for a Degree Program

• Acceptance into a degree program is based on rank per chosen degree program and quota.
• If you don’t make it to your first choice of program, you will be screened again for your next choice.

(2). Admission through Iskolar NG Bayan Program

(4). Transfer Admission (Not for freshmen)

Important Date Scheduled UPCAT 2018-19

• Start of Application Period: 17^th July 2017
• Closing date for filling of applications: 18^th August 2017 Metro Manila Private Schools
• Closing date for filling of applications: 25^th August 2017- Metro Manila Public Schools
• Closing date for filling of applications: 1^st September 2017- Non-Metro Manila Schools & applications through regional filling centers (Late applications will be subject to late fees)

How to Apply for the UPCAT 2018-19

Step-1: Fill out application form-1 online manually

Step-2: Give UPCAT form 2 to your high school principal/school head to be filled out

Step-3: Pay the UPCAT application fee

Step-4: Submit the complete UPCAT form 1 and 2 and all other required documents.

Step-5: Claim your test permit

UPCAT Results 2017

Check the UP website for announcements and posting of posting of UPCAT result between March and April 2018. A list of UP qualifiers from your school will be sent to your principal. Individual notices will also be sent to all examinees. www.criteria.in
