Counselling will be conducted for admission to PG courses in All India 50% quota, State Quota Seats in Government /Private Medical Institutions in a State and DNB courses broad speciality. NBE has no role in counselling for All India 50% quota and State Quota seats; on the other hand, it is accountable for conducting the counselling for admission to DNB courses.
NEET PG 2023 Counselling
- In order to participate in the counselling, the selected candidate need to register first and then exercise their options for the various Institute/ Universities.
- After exercising the options, they will be allocated a seat.
- Admission will be granted to students on the basis of the merit in the entrance exam, choices filled and availability of seats.

What is Conversion of Seats?
- Conversion of seats will be carried out during the second round of seat allotment.
- Conversion of vacant reserved seats will be done as per the following algorithm after allotment of the seat during Round-2 to PH/Reserved category candidates:

- UR (PH) -> UR
- OBC(PH) -> OBC
- ST -> SC
- SC-> UR

NEET PG 2023 Counselling Registration
You check the step by step procedure to participate in the counselling:
Step 1: Registration
- Click on the link which is going to be avaible soon to register online for NEET PG
- Enter detail such as Testing ID/Confirmation Number, Application Number/Testing ID, their name, & Date of Birth. Mother Name, Email ID, Mobile Number.
- Submit the details by clicking on “Submit” button.
Step 2: Exercising of Choices, indicative seat allotment process, and Locking of choices
- Log in by entering the details like their Testing ID/ Roll Number, selecting the stream, Password.
- In the online allotment process, fill in choice of subjects and Institutions/ colleges in order of preference.
- Choose as many options as possible.
- On the other hand, choices should be in the order of preference, as the allotment will be done on the basis of choices submitted by students in order of preference.
- Once the choice is filled in, it can be customized before locking it.
- During the choice locking period, it is necessary to lock the choices to get a print of your submitted choices.
- If a candidate does not lock the choice, the submitted choices will be automatically locked on the notified date and time, however, you will be allowed to take a print of your choices after that but you will not be permitted to modify your choices.
Step 3: Seat Allotment Result:
- Result of the seat allotment is going to be published online on the website.
- Students will be allotted seat on their merit in the entrance exam, availability of seat in the respective colleges and choices given by students .
How to Download Seat Allotment Letter for NEET PG 2023 Counselling?
- Follow the instructions given below:
- Click on the link which is given below to download the Allotment Letter for Round 1.
- Enter login details like Stream, Round and Roll Number.
- Submit the details.
- Download and take its print out to bring it on the day of admission.
Step 4: Reporting at the allotted Medical/Dental College
- After the declaration of the seat allotment result, you need to report at the allotted College as per the schedule.
- At the time of reporting to the allotted college, students should carry the following documents in original

- Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate
