Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted by Indian Air Force twice a year. Entrance exam is for candidates who completed their graduation. Examination is conducted twice a year in the month of February and August by the Indian air force.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

• Applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Flying Branch

• Both Men and Women may apply for the flying branch.
• Students date of birth must be within 2nd January 1998 and 1st January 2002 (both dates inclusive).
• Age should be within 20 to 24 years as on 1st July 2024.
• Those who have a Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA are relaxed up to 26 years.
• Graduation in any discipline.
• Those who have completed B.E./ B. Tech. of four-year duration can also apply.
• Final year students can also apply.

Ground Duty (Technical)

• Date of birth of should be within 2nd January 1996 and 1st January 2002.
• Age must be within 20 to 26 years as on 1st July 2022.
• Completed graduation degree/PG qualification in Engineering/Technology

Ground Duty (Non-Technical)

• Both Men and Women can apply.
• Age should be within 2nd January 1992 and 1st January 2002.
• Age must be within 20 to 26 years as on 1st July 2022.
• Graduation degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.

Complete process to fill AFCAT Application Form 2024

• Visit the official website.
• On the home page follow candidate’s login 
• Complete the registration process.
• Enter your name, e-mail ID and mobile number etc. in the registration form.
• After successful Air Force Common Admission Test registration, you will receive a registration ID and password.
• Login with the registration ID and password to complete the application form part.
• Enter personal as well as the academic qualification in the application form.
• Upload your scanned photo and sign as per the given condition.
• Pay fee to complete the application.
• After submission of Air Force Common Admission Test form, do not forget to take the printout of AFCAT form for future reference.

Application Fee

• Students need to pay the requisite application fee for AFCAT 2024 exam and it is Rs.250/-.
• Payment can be done through online mode using the debit/credit card and net banking.
• Registration fee is mandatory for every applicant.
• Once payment is done, it will not be refunded in any case.
• After making payment, candidates can take printout of Air Force Common Admission Test fee receipt for record and reference.

AFCAT Admit Card 2024

• Applicants can obtain the Air Force Common Admission Test admit card from the official website of the AFCAT.
• AFCAT-I 2024 admit card will be released in the month of January 2024. Download hall ticket from the official website
• Competent authority will not send the hard copy of the admit card to any individual.

AFCAT Selection Process

• Applicants need to appear in Air Force Common Admission Test written test.
• Students will be shortlisted for next round of selection as per their rank secured in the exam.
• Competent authority will be on the basis of written exam performance will invite Screening Test i.e. Stage-I Testing.
• Screening test consists of Officer Intelligence Rating Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test.
• After qualifying the Stage-I, you will be called for Stage-II Testing.
• Stage II testing consists of Psychological Test, Group Test to verify the interactive ability, conversation skills etc.
• Those who will qualify SSB/Interview will be selected for medical exam before final letter of joining.
• Selection will be based on merit and performance throughout the exam.
