Agniveer Salary Structure | Per Month | Benefits: The ministry of Defence Minister Rajanath Singh launched the Agnipath recruitment scheme on 14 June 2022. The organization will be executing this new recruitment scheme and the armed force has been named Agniveers. The candidates have to enroll in this service for four years. This scheme refers to the recruitment process for individuals with the rank of officer, with the goal of deploying fitter, younger troops on the front lines.

Overview of Agnipath Scheme

Purpose of Agneepath Scheme

The main purpose of the central Government is to introduce the Indian army Agneepath entry scheme is to aim of training the youth and making a cut in retirement as well as in pensions. The selected candidates will be trained professionally and then they will be recruited within the areas like Jammu and Kashmir border. There will be no entrance test for the youth. The candidates will go through training for six months and then will be inducted for three and half years.

• The candidate must visit the official portal of the Ministry of Defence.
• After visiting the official site the candidate has to search for the Agneepath application link.
• When the application form is open the candidate must fill out the application form for the recruitment.

Agniveer Salary Seva Nidhi Package

Under the Seva Nidhi Package, an amount will be transferred to the Agniveer at the end of their service period. After four years of service, they will receive 10.04 lakhs. This amount will be accumulated after an equal contribution of the employee and the Government. The total amount to be transferred will also include interest over the corpus fund.

If the Agniveers exit the service before their four-year period, the accumulated corpus amount will be paid with interest. However, the Government contribution to the package will not be considered.

The amount received as Seva Nidhi will be exempted from Income Tax.

Agneepath Salary After 4 Years

• They will receive a corpus amount of Rs. 10.04 lakhs under the Seva Nidhi scheme.
• They will be awarded an Agniveer skill certificate, highlighting their competency and acquired skills.
• For Agniveers the union Ministry of education will be introduced.
• 10% of service in the Indian Coast Guard and Ministry of Defence will be reserved for Agniveers.
• Agniveers will get priority in State Police Recruitment.
