Assam Polytechnic PAT 2024 is conducted by DTE, Assam. Assam PAT is a polytechnic exam conducted once in a year to offer admission to the candidates in the Polytechnic Diploma courses. Admission will be offered to the test qualifying candidates into various polytechnic colleges or institutions situated in the state of Assam.

Assam Polytechnic (PAT) 2024 Application Form can be fill tills second week of  April 2024. Assam Polytechnic entrance exam is organized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam. • Students need to pay Rs. 500/- towards the application fee.

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Students should be an India national citizen.
• Domicile: Applicants be the resident of Assam state.
• Qualifying Exam: Applicants should pass the 10th/HSLC examination from a recognized board.
• Minimum Marks: Students must have obtained 40% marks in aggregate (35% in case of SC and 30% for ST candidates).
• Subjects: Mathematics and Science are the compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam.
• Age Limit: Upper age of the general candidates should be 20 years 6 months.
• For ST/SC candidates, maximum age limit is 23 years 6 months.

Assam Polytechnic PAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Residential Eligibility: 

Students must be citizen of India and Permanent resident of Assam.

Domicile: 

He/she must possess domicile certificate of Assam.

Age limit:

Upper age limit should be 21 years as on 1st Aug 2024.

Educational Qualification: 

Student must have passed minimum 10th/ H.S.L.C. or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Qualifying Subjects: 

Students should have passed with Science and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in the 10th

Physical Fitness:

Assam Polytechnic PAT 2024 Exam Pattern

• Mode of Exam: Entrance exam will be conducted through offline mode.
• Total Number of Questions: Total 100 questions for the candidates in MCQ format.
• Total Time: Two hours will be given for solving the question paper.
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be given for each correct answer. No negative marking for wrong responses.

Assam Polytechnic PAT 2024 Syllabus
