BHU MCA entrance exam 2024
Banaras Hindu University organize exam for admission of students into BHU MCA course to its three-year full time MCA course. This course offered by the university is extremely preferred by MCA aspirants .PET exam is conducted every year in the month of May/June on or before the start of the academic year.
University invites applications from eligible and talented contenders for BHU MCA entrance through its notification that will be announced in the month of February. Authority will announce a merit list illustrating the names of applicants qualified in the exam and eligible for admission. Merit list will be determined based on performance of a candidate in the exam. Therefore, applicants prepare really well for the exam to fetch good marks.

Eligibility for BHU MCA PET 2024:
Bachelor’s Degree under 10+2+3 pattern in any discipline or equivalent exam
Appearing candidates:
- Those appearing in the final year can also apply and appear in the exam.
- On the other hand, such applicants will be required to produce the original mark sheet of the qualifying exam at the time of counselling in order to get admission.
Complete process to fill BHU MCA entrance exam 2024 Application Form
- Applicants can apply online for the PET exam through official Portal i.e. www.bhuonline.in.
BHU MCA entrance exam form will only be available via online mode
- No offline forms will be sold by the authority.
- Therefore, you need to register themselves for the exam through the test portal only.
- For registration, enter basic details such as- Email ID, Password, Name, DOB, Father’s name, Mother’s name, and Address.
- After successful registration, proceed to fill form for PET.
- For filling the form, Aadhar number is compulsory and scanned photo and signature in JPEG format handy.
- Applicants need to enter their educational details very carefully as they won’t be given an opportunity to edit/change the details in the application form once it is submitted.
- After completing the application form, pay an application fee for the exam.
- Without fee, the application received will be rejected by the authority.
Application Fee
- SC/ST/PC categories need to pay Rs. 250/- as the application fee
- For other candidates, the fee to be paid is Rs. 500/-.
Mode of Payment:
Application fee can be paid through any one of the methods- Net banking, Credit card, Debit card and HDFC bank Challan.
BHU Exam Pattern 2024
- Exam Mode: Offline (Pen and Paper based)
- Exam Duration: 2 Hours
- Type of Questions: Objective type (MCQs)
- Total Number of Questions: 120 questions
- Marking scheme: 3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer
- Negative marking: 1 mark will be subtracted for marking the incorrect answer
BHU MCA entrance exam Admit Card 2024
BHU MCA entrance exam hall ticket will be available on the official site .Admit Card will be available for downloading from a week prior to the commencement of the exam. Applicants will also get an intimation about the admit card status on their registered mobile phone and email ID. Applicants must take the printout of the hall ticket and keep it safe till the admission is done. Contenders should bring the admit card to the exam center or else they won’t be allowed to appear in the exam.
Result and Counselling
Result of the BHU MCA 2024 entrance exam will be published on the test portal of the Banaras Hindu University. Applicants will be notified about the result on their email ID and mobile number. Only those applicants proceed for admission who qualifies the exam as per the merit list.
