- Applicants should possess Master’s degree in relevant subject with a minimum of 55% aggregate or equivalent grade
- Master’s degree or equivalent grade point in the qualifying exam

All admissions of eligible students to Ph.D. programmes, there are three levels of this test as mentioned below:
- Test A: To review Logical and Analytical Capability
- Test B: To evaluation Subject Knowledge Test
- Test C: Research proposal and Personal Interview to analysis aptitude for research

Online application making process has six steps:
- Step 1: You are required to register online through official website and authenticate your email id and mobile number
- Step 2: Fill up the credentials information
Enter the following credentials are necessary:
- Aadhaar Card
- Passport
- Voter ID
- Bank Passbook affixed with photo
- Driving License
- Pan Card
- Any other valid Government ID Number
- Admit Card issued by the concerned Boards
