BHU SET Application Form 2024: Banaras Hindu University focuses on selecting girls and boys for Central Hindu Girl School and Central Hindu Boy School respectively. Eligibility Criteria for BHU SET Application Form 2024

For Class VI: The candidate should be a minimum of 10 years to 12 years of age and should pass 5th class from a school.

For Class IX: The applicant should be a minimum age between 13 years to 15 years of age and must complete 8th class from a school.

For Class XI: The candidate age should be 18 years of age and passes X class from a recognized university. The percentage attain should be as follows.

The percentage should be 60% in aggregate for admission in the science stream.

More than 50% marks in each Science and Mathematics for admission to Science group.

More than 55% marks in aggregate for Commerce stream.

For SC/ST/OH can seek admission to the above classes and obtain 33% in the school entrance test.

The payment can be done through the payment available on the entrance test by debit card, credit card, and internet banking.

• The exam will be conducted on offline mode.
• There will be 100 questions on the paper.
• The duration of the exam is 2 hours.

BHU SET Exam Syllabus

Class VI: The question paper will consists of questions from subjects of class V such as English, Hindi, Mathematics, Social Science, and General Science. There are 100 objective type questions.

Class IX: The paper will be from class VIII from subjects like English, Hindi, Mathematics, Social Science, and General Science. There is a total of 100 multiple choice questions.

Class XI: The exam paper will be from the subjects studied in class X. There are 100 objective type questions are available.

Maths Group: The subjects are English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and General Studies.

Biology Group: The different types of subjects are English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Studies.

Selection Process

• The admission of BHU employees ward candidates will be first sent to the Central Hindu Girl School for LKG class.
• 3% seats will be allotted for differently abled children.
• The waiting list for each lot will be prepared separately.

Admit Card for BHU SET 2024

Hall tickets will be made available online on the official website of the authority portal. Candidates can download the admission ticket and the admission ticket will be e-mailed to the candidates provided in the entrance exam form. The authority will send SMS regarding the issue of hall tickets on the registered contact number. To download the admit card the candidates should enter a unique code given while filling the registration form. The organization should not send the admit card via post. If there is any issue found in the hall ticket then the candidates must inform the chief coordinator.

Answer Key

The answer key of the question paper will be released on the official website. Candidates can seek access to the answer key and the result will be prepared on the basis of the final answer key.

BHU SET Result 2024

The result will be declared after the issue of the answer key. Based on the marks obtained in the entrance test merit list will be drawn for all the classes. The candidates who qualify for the exam will be selected for document verification.

Counselling Details

After the declaration of the result , the candidates will seem for the process of counseling. The candidate must carry all the original as well as self attested documents to the counseling centre.
