Eligibility Criteria:

• Master’s degree with minimum at least 55% marks in the General category and 50% for SC and ST.
• In order to attempt for JRF or Junior Research Fellowship, the valid age should not be above 28 years.

• For Lecturer-ship, age limit is out of the question.
• There is no limit on upper age.

UGC NET Exam Pattern 2024:

• There will be 60 questions
• Attempt only 50 for 100 marks
• Duration of one hour 15 minutes
• There will be 50 obligatory questions for 100 marks and for the duration of one hour 15 minutes
• There will be 75 obligatory questions for 150 marks and for the duration of two hours 30 minutes
