Govt will conduct common prelims exam for the non-gazetted posts in the central government. Govt has decided to conduct a (CET) in place of prelims exams for all the govt departments. Score of the exam is used to choose applicants for the higher level of the exam by the different organizations for select candidates for the posts.
Test scores will be applicable for a period of three years and will be conducted twice a year. This is going to help all the govt aspirants, as there will be no need to fill different applications for the different exams and they have to prepare for a single exam now.

NRA CET 2021: Latest Updates
As per the latest statement of Union Minister of State is expected to conduct the Common Eligibility Test from September 2021 onwards. At least 2.5 crore job aspirants across the country are likely to advantage from a (CET) exam to be organized by (NRA) for various govt departments to fill up vacant posts.

- The exam will be conducted in 12 languages.
- Score is valid for three years.
- Exam will be conducted twice a year.
Exams To Be Subsumed Under CET
All the prelims exams of Group B and C posts will include into a single (CET). National Recruitment Agency will initially aim at replacing the preliminary exams which will be conducted by three government agencies namely:
- Staff Selection Commission (SSC),
- Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), and
- Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS).
NRA CET 2021: Scores Used By
The score of CET will hold a great value in getting Jobs whether it is govt, PSU’s jobs, or a private job. According to statement in the press conference, the CET score will be used by not only the state and central govt but also the (PSUs) and private organizations. Esteemed authority body other than SSC, IBPS, and RRB using the CET score is:
- State Recruiting Agencies,
- Various Union Territories Agencies,
- Public Sector Undertakings, and
- Private Companies (with some agreements)
CET 2021: Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility criteria consist of graduate, 12th passed and 10th standard students.
- There will be 3 levels of exam namely, undergraduate, 12th level exam, and 10th level exam.
NRA CET 2021: Age Limit
- Age limit will depend on the exam they want to appear for.
- There is no change in the age limit of the exam.
- Age relaxation will be different for diverse categories
