CRPF Selection Procedure
Written Exam of two hours and consists of four sections
- Hindi/English language
- Numerical Ability
- General Intelligence
- Clerical Aptitude
- Typing and/or shorthand test
- Personal interview
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Physical measurements
Selection Process for CRPF Recruitment:
- The recruitment process shall be based on Physical Standard/Trail/Physically Efficiency Test, Sports performance/achievement/trial test.
- Only those candidates who qualify Trial Test/PST/PET they will get shortlisted for DME
- All those applicants whose documents are found to be in order will require to appear in the Detailed Medical Exam.
- Preferences will be given to those applicants who have won medals for the country in the well-known up to date International sports competitions or have won Gold/Silver/Bronze medals in Senior National Championships/National Games during the year 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18.
- Testimonials of applicants will be checked during Detailed Medical Stage and their checking during DME will be the only responsibility of Concerned Recruitment Boards.
- Selection of the sportsperson will be done on the basis of their sports attainment, educational qualifications & qualitative condition prescribed for recruitment of sportspersons.
Physical Standards Test (PST)
- Height for Males: 170 cms.
- Height for Females: 157 cms.
- Chest: For males candidates only – Unexpanded: 80 cms & Expanded: Min expansion 5 cms
- Weight: For males and Females: Balanced to height and age as per medical values
