Dance India Dance Audition 2024 | Eligibility Criteria | Apply Online: Dance India Dance (DID) is the biggest dancing reality TV show on Indian television.  It was produced by Essel Vision Productions. Dance India Dance premiered on 30 January 2009. This show features a format where dancers from various styles are held in Indian metropolitan cities to show their unique talent and style. Eligibility Criteria for Dance India Dance

• The participant must be in the age group of 14 years to 35 years.
• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Candidates must be physically and mentally fit for the show.
• The participants must carry their own CD of the song they want to perform at the time of auditions.

Selection Process of Dance India Dance

The selection process can be divided into two stages open auditions, and mega auditions.

Open Auditions

The open auditions take place in five to six major Indian cities and are typically open to anyone aged between 15 years to 30 years at the time of audition. During this stage, dancers perform a brief routine before three judges. If the dancer impresses the masters with dancing abilities, masters, and move them ahead in the competition.

Mega Auditions

The second stage is Mega auditions and is a several-day-long procedure in which 100 fortunate applicants are tested for overall well-rounded dance ability, and their ability to perform under pressure. At the end of this procedure, only the top 36 competitors are selected.
