Draupadi Murmu Biography
Murmu was born on 20 June 1958 and she came from the village of Baidaposi. Her life has always been challenging and full of obstacles because she was a tribal lady. Before entering politics she worked as a teacher. She married Shyam Charan Murmu, a bank official who passed away in the year 2014. She had two sons and one daughter. She lost her son Laxman Murmu in an accident in the year 2009 and the other son Shipun passed away in the year 2013.
