- Soldier GD – 17½ years to 21 Years
- Soldier Clerk/SKT, Nursing Assistant, Technical and Tradesmen – 17½ years to 23 Years
Educational Qualification:
- Soldier General Duty (GD) – Matriculation Pass.
- Soldier Clerk/ SKT –Intermediate Pass (10+2).
- Soldier Technical – Intermediate Pass (10+2) in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English
- Soldier Nursing Assistant (NA) – Intermediate Pass in Science stream.
- Soldier Tradesmen – Matriculation Pass or ITI

- Indian Gorkha – 157 Cms
- Soldier GD, Technical, Tradesman, Nursing Assistant (For other district of UK)– 163 Cms
