GATE 2023 Online Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, GATE exams are primarily meant for students who have completed their degrees or are studying in the final year (except in 5-year integrated courses and AMIE, etc). Hence, students who have a degree completion certificate can upload their degree certificate as eligibility criteria.

Admission in IITs/IISc or other institutes for M.Tech/ PhD through GATE 2023 scores shall be advertised separately by the institutes and GATE 2023 does not take the responsibility of admission.

GATE Online Application Form 2023

After the submission of the GAE application form 2023, the students are allotted a period of time for correction of submitted information. The applicants have to send an email with the enrollment number to their respective Zonal GATE office along with the documented proof to correct their wrong information.

  • Educational Qualification for B.E/B.Tech./B.Pharm: Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology (4 years after 10+2 or 3 years after B.Sc. Degree or Diploma.
  • Educational Qualification for B.Arch: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
  • Educational Qualification for B.Sc. (Research): Bachelor’s degree in Science (4-years)
  • Educational Qualification for M.Sc./M.A./MCA: Master’s degree in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications.
  • Educational Qualification for Int. M.E/M.Tech (Post-B.Sc.): Post-B.Sc Integrated Master’s degree programs in Engineering/Technology
  • Educational Qualification for Int. M.E./M.Tech or Dual Degree: Integrated Master’s degree program or Dual degree program in Engineering/Technology.
  • Educational Qualification for Int. M.Sc/Int. B.S.-M.S.: Integrated M.Sc. or 5 years integrated B.S./M.S. program

How to Prepare for the GATE Entrance Examination 2023

Admit Card GATE Exam 2023

The authority will be issued exam admit card in the month of January 2023. The admit card is available online only for those students who have registered themselves for the examination. GATE Exam Answer Key 2023

Gate exam answer key will be announced after successfully done the entrance examination. Applicants can check the answer key via online mode. The authority has provided the answer key separately for each discipline. If you have any doubt of answer key, then you can challenge answer key of a nominal fee.

GATE Exam Result 2023

The exam result will be declared in the month of March 2023. Students will have to log in to GOAPS by entering their enrollment-ID, registration number and Date of Birth of Birth to access their GATE exam result 2023. The qualifying marks will be displayed in the exam result along with the score and All India Rank (AIR) obtained by the student.

Score Calculation of GATE Exam 2023

The student’s final score for GATE 2023 will be calculated as per the number of papers given by the student. Single session paper, the GATE 2023 score will be the actual marks scored by them in the exam. For the multi-session paper, the normalization process will be used. The calculation of marks will be different for each of them. The calculation of scores in both the cases will be through a standardized formula. After calculating the scores, the final marks will be calculated and the GATE exam result will be announced.

GATE Score Card 2023

The qualified students are provided with a GATE score card which has the validity of 3 years from the date of declaration of entrance exam result. Score card show your performance in the entrance examination.

GATE Cut-Off Marks 2023

GATE cut-off scores will be decided the student’s eligibility for admission to IITs and IISc. It is decided whether students are qualified in the entrance exam or not. GATE cut-off marks varies stream-wise and category-wise. The cut-off marks for reserved category students are primarily low compared to the unreserved category students.

GATE Admission counselling 2023

No common GATE counselling will be conducted by IITs for providing admission to PG candidates have to apply individually to the IITs when the admission notification will be announced. NITs organizes the centralized counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. admission (CCMT). GATE counselling completely based on GATE scores.
