Gramin Dak Sevak Selection Process 2021
- Gramin Dak Sevak selection procedure will be based on the marks obtained in 10th standard.
- Merit list will be prepared based on applicants’ 10th class marks.
- 10th standard percentage will be the criteria for final selection.
- No weightage will be given for advanced educational qualification.

- Residence : Those who applied for the post of (GDS) & BPM post must take his/her residence in within one month after selection but.
- Cycling knowledge is a requirement condition for GDS posts attached with outdoor responsibility.
Selection Criteria for GDS Recruitment 2021
- Applicants who posses both mark and grades in the marks list have to apply with marks only.
- In case any applicants apply with grades only his application liable for disqualification.
- In case of the marks lists containing the Grades/ Points, marks will be reckoned by taking conversion of Grades and points.
- Applicants may apply for a maximum of twenty posts as per cycle of online engagement.
- Applicants submitted form without complete data will also be discarded from consideration.

Gramin Dak Sevak Selection Process 2021
- Gramin Dak Sevak Selection will not consist of any written or online exam.
- Selection of eligible applicants will only be based on class 10 marks markssheet
- Go through the tips given below to learn about the GDS selection procedure.
- Gramin dak Sevak Selection Process will only be based on 10th standard marks.
- Marks scored by applicants will be rounded off to the accuracy of 4 decimals to prepare the Gramin Dak Sevak merit list.
- There will be no weightage given to candidates having higher qualification, past experience and service knowledge.
- Selection will only be based on merit (marks in class 10).
Gramin Dak Sevak Selection Criteria/ Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are required to go through the GDS eligibility criteria before filling the GDS application process.
GDS selection criteria are as follows:
Age Criteria:
- Age must be between 18 to 40 years as on October 10, 2021.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable as stated below. GDs age relaxation criteria are as follows:

Educational Qualification:
Applicants must be have passed class 10 with Mathematics and English as a compulsory or elective subject.
Computer knowledge:
- Applicants should have essential knowledge of computers.
- Applicants are required to produce Basic Computer Training Course Certificate with a minimum period of 60 days.
- Applicants should have studied the local language at least up to class 10 as a compulsory or elective subject.
