Haryana Board of Secondary Education every year conducts HTET Examination to fulfill the empty position in the Haryana state. This year also HTET Exam will be conducted by the HBSE. HTET Exam will be conducted in the first week of January 2023.

Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test -2023 conducts this test in the following 3 levels:
- Level / Paper I: Those who plan to be a teacher for classes I to V (Primary Teachers)
- Level / Paper II: Those who plan to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII (TGT – Trained Graduate Teachers)
- Level / Paper III: Those who plan to be a PGT

HTET Exam:
- HTET will be conducted in three levels i.e. Level 1, 2 & 3.
- Those who want to teach I to V classes have to write Level-1 (PRT)
- Those who wants to teach VI to VIII classes must write Level-2 (TGT)
- Those who wants to teach IX to XII classes must write Level-3 (PGT).
- Applicants should satisfy prescribed qualification to teach I to V Classes (Level-1), VI to VIII Classes (Level-2) & IX to XII Classes (Level-3)
Level wise details:
- Level-1: PRT For Primary Teachers Class I to V
- Level-2: TGT For Teachers Class VI to VIII
- Level-3: PGT For Post Graduate Teachers Class IX to XII
HTET Selection Process 2023
Selection Process means what’s the procedure to get selection in the HTET examination. HTET Exam is conducted into three levels i.e.
- Level I (Primary Level Teacher)
- Level II (Graduate Level Teacher)
- Level III (Post Graduate Level Teacher)
HTET Qualifying Marks:
- Cut off is the minimum qualifying marks which need to score in the HTET exam.
- Those who will able to score minimum cut off marks will take as qualified for the HTET Exam.
