Every year the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection holds the IBPS Bank Exam to select Probationary Officers in Public Sector banks.
IBPS Eligibility Criteria – 2024
Educational Qualification:
Graduation Degree in any of the streams
Computer Literacy:
Applicants should possess Knowledge of computer operation is a must as the IBPS exam is conducted online.
Language Proficiency:
Applicants should have verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the State/UT.
Other Knowledge:
Applicants should be able to read, write and speak the language.
Age Eligibility:
Between 20 to 30 Years

Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants:
Applicants applying for IBPS CWE/Bank Exam they should be one of the following:
- Citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of everlasting settlement
- (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or East African countries with the intention of permanent settlement in India

IBPS Syllabus 2024
IBPS syllabus is divided into two parts:
IBPS Application Fee
Category | Application Fee |
SC/ST/PWD need to deposit an amount of | Rs.100/- (Intimation Charges only) |
General and Others category students need to pay an amount of | Rs. 600/- (App. Fee including intimation charges) |
IBPS Interview
- Applicants who will qualify the mains exam will be called for an interview which will carry 100 marks.
- To qualify for the interview applicants are required to score 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).
- Merit list will be based on marks obtained in the main exam and interview.
Selection Criteria
- Marks scored in the Preliminary Exam (Tier-1) will not be measured in the final score.
- These are only taken into account to meet the requirements Mains Exam (Tier-2).
- Applicants need to qualify Phase-2 and Interview individually to be eligible for the final worth.
- Ratio of marks between the CWE Main exam and interview for the final merit list will be 80:20 respectively.
- Aggregate of 100 marks is used for the final merit list for each category.
IBPS 2024 Admit Card
- Dear valued students link for downloading hall ticket will be active till second week of October
- Exam schedule is from the second week of Oct 2024 – second week of Nov 2024
- Applicants may download the IBPS 2024 admit card from the official website IBPS because a hard copy of the IBPS Admit Card will not be sent to students via post.
To login on the official site, applicants will require the following:
- Registration No/Roll No
- Date of Birth/ Password
- Admit cards will be made available September 2024 IBPS Exam.
Admit cards or call letters for IBPS 2024 will be issued in 3 phases:
- Online Preliminary Exam
- Online Mains Exam
- Interview

IBPS Result 2024 for each stage will be announced on the official website as per the schedule published
Successful applicants of the Preliminary exam will appear for Main Exam wherein each applicant needs to secure a minimum cutoff score in order to qualify for the Interview round.
