Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army Havildar Recruitment

Educational Qualification:  The applicants must have a working knowledge of either Hindi or English or Boat. Applicants should have graduation/post graduation degree from a recognized board/university.

(1). Science Stream: B.Sc./B.Sc.(IT)/BCA/BE/B.Tech/M.Sc./M.Sc.(IT)/MCA/M.Tech (with or without B.Ed) with any of the following subjects:-

• (aa)-Physics
• (ab)-Chemistry
• (ac)-Mathematics
• (ad)-Biology
• (ae)-Botany
• (af)-Zoology
• (ag)-Electronics
• (ah)- Computer Science

(2). Arts Streams: BA/MA (with or without B.Ed) with any of the following:-

• (aa)-English Literature
• (ab)-Hindi Literature
• (ac)-Urdu Literature
• (ad)-History
• (ae)-Geography
• (af)-Political Science
• (ag)-Economics
• (ah)-Psychology
• (aj)-Mathematics
• (ak)-Sociology  

Physical Standards: Country has been divided into the region. Region wise minimum physical standard is as follow:

Western Himalayan (Region)

• Height: 162 (cm)
• Chest: 77 (cm)
• Weight: 48 (kg)

Eastern Himalayan (Region)

• Height: 160 (cm)
• Chest: 77 (cm)
• Weight: 48 (kg)

Rest of the country

• Height: 162 (cm)
• Chest: 77 (cm)
• Weight: 50 (kg)

Physical Fitness Test

• 6 Km Running
• Pull-up (Beam)
• Balance
• 9feet ditch

How to Apply Indian Army Havildar

The recruitment will be carried out through all the Headquarters recruiting Zones and Independent Recruiting Office (Delhi Cantt).

Civil applicants can appear for screening and written test only in the Headquarter recruiting Zone or Independent recruiting office (Delhi Cantt) covering their place of domicile. Service applicants will appear in the recruiting Zones or independent recruiting office (Delhi Cantt) nearest to their place of posting.

Application submitted to a different organization of which the applicants is not domicile of will be rejected.

Submission of Application by Civil applicants: Application form civil applicants applying for Havildar Education will only be accepted online on the website of Indian Army.

Online Registration: Online Registration window will open in the month May 2018.
