Indian Army invites an online application form from unmarried Male and unmarried Female Engineering Graduate and also from Widows of Defence Personnel for grant of SSC in the Indian Army in all Arms/Services. Eligible candidates who wish to Join Indian Army after engineering can apply for Indian Army SSC Tech 2023. The application form will be available from last week of January 2023 to the third week of  February 2023. Keep all your document s ready while filling the form.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army SSC Technical Recruitment

Nationality:

A candidate must either be :

• A citizen of India, or
• A subject of Bhutan, or
• A subject of Nepal, or
• a Tibetan refugee
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries.

Age Limit

SSC (T) Men and Women: 20 to 27 years

For windows of Defence Personnel who Died in Harness Only: Maximum of 35 years of age

Important Note for Age Limit:

• The DOB will be accepted by the office is that entered in the Matriculation or an equivalent examination certificate.
• No other certificate relating to age will be received
• No consequent request for its change will be measured or granted.

Educational Qualification

For SSC (Tech) (Men and Women):

• Those who have passed Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of engineering course are eligible to apply.
• Those who are studying in the final year examination of Degree Course should be able to produce the Engineering Degree within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training
• Applicants who are studying in the final year of engineering degree course should be able to submit proof of passing.

Physical Standards

Height & Weight:

Minimum satisfactory height and weight for men is 157.5 cms with interrelated weight and for women, the candidate is 152 cm and 42 kg.

Visual Standards

• Minimum acceptable visual acuity is a distant vision (corrected) better eye 6/6, worse 6/18, Myopia of not more than minus 3.5 including Astigmation
• Applicants who have undergone or have evidence for having undergone Radial Keratotomy to get better the visual acuity will be permanently rejected
• Those who have undergone Lasik Surgery for Correction of reflective error are NOT acceptable

Medical Examination

• Applicants will undergo a medical examination by the Board of Service Medical officers.
• Only those candidates will be admitted to the academy who will be declared fit by the Medical Board.

Method of Selection

Shortlisting of Applications & SSB Interviews:

Two Stage Selection Procedures:

• Two-stage selection procedure based on Psychological Aptitude Test will be organized at Selection Centres
• All applicants will face stage one test on the first day of reporting
• Applicants who qualify in stage one will be admitted to the second stage/remaining test
• Those who not succeed to pass stage one will be returned on the same date.

Indian Army  SSC Tech Pay Scale

• 56100/- Per month (Starting pay in Level 10)
• Military Service Pay (MSP) – Rs.15500/- per month fixed.
