Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission Application Form will be released in online mode. No other mode of Navodaya Vidyalaya application form will be accepted except online mode. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who are seeking admission must not have been born before May 01, 2007 and after Apr 30, 2011 (Both dates are inclusive).
For Rural Candidates
- At least 75% of the seats in a district will be filled by students selected from rural areas and remaining seats will be filled from the urban areas of the district.
- Applicants who are seeking admission under the rural quota must have studied in Classes-III, IV and V completing full academic session
- Applicants who are studying under the schemes of National Institute of Open Schooling should produce their rural status certificate issued by District Magistrate / Tehsildar / Block Development Officer.
For Urban Candidates:
- Applicants who have studied in a school located in an urban area even for a single day of session in Class-III, IV, and V will be considered as an urban candidate.
- Urban areas are those which are so defined in 2011 census or through a subsequent Govt advertisement. All other areas will be considered as rural.
For Transgender Candidates:
No separate reservation for the transgender category.
Easy process to apply for Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2024
- Visit the official website navodaya.gov.in
- On the home page you need to follow Navodaya Form 2024.
- Open the application page
- Fill the information which will be asked.
- Upload the photo, signature and other information asked.
- Make payment of fee via online mode by using the net payment mode.
- Press on to submit Button.
- At the end take a print out of the application form.
- Keep hard copy and a soft copy for further use.
JNV Admission 2024 Fee:
- No fee for those aspirants who are applying for class 6th & class 9th then make payment of Rs 1200/- to appear in the written test.
- Those who are the ward of govt employees are required to pay Rs 5000/-
- Transgender and SC and ST category need not to pay any charges for an Application form.
- BPL categories Boys and Girls need not to pay any type of fee.

Eligibility for 6th Class Admission:
- Applicants who are not born after 1st May 2006 and after 30th April 2009 can apply for the written test.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Exam Pattern for Class 9th:
- Question paper will appear in English/Hindi languages only.
- Answer in the OMR sheet only.
Prepare for subjects such as Maths, General Science, English and Hindi.
- English for 15 Marks
- Hindi for 15 Marks
- Maths for 35 Marks
- Science for 35 Marks
Note:
- Test will be objective type in the pattern
- Applicants need to complete the exam in two hours’ duration.
- The merit list will be prepared as per the selection criterion of NVS.
Navodaya Vidyalaya Admit Card 2024:
Navodaya Vidyalaya Admit Card 2024 will be issued for those students who are going to take part in the exam . Interested participants can appear in the written test.
