NID 2023 Application Form: NID stands for National Institute of Design. The NID conducts national-level entrance exams and the qualified candidates are offered admission for the candidates. Selected candidates will be done through two stages prelims and mains. The NID has conducted the prelims exam in pen and paper mode. The result of the NID will be announced in March 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Design

Educational Qualification:

For NID B.Design candidates

• The candidate must complete the senior secondary examination from any recognized university.
• The senior secondary examination will be affiliated with a recognized university.
• The candidates who are appearing for the exam can submit their documents during the time of the counseling exam.
• For candidates who fail to provide the documents of passing the examination during the time of the counseling exam, admission will be canceled.

For NID M. Design  candidates

• The candidate must complete a bachelor’s degree of at least four-year duration from a recognized university.
• The candidate must complete the diploma in design, fine arts, applied arts, and architecture after the 12th standard from a recognized university.
• The candidate must complete a bachelor’s degree of at least three-year duration from a recognized university.
• A candidate who fails to submit their degree during the time of counseling, their admission will be canceled.

NID 2023 Exam Pattern

• The paper will be conducted through pen and paper-based tests.
• The language of the paper will be English.
• There will be the visual and textual type of questions in the paper.
• The duration of the exam is 3 hours and the paper contains 100 marks.
• The interview will be conducted separately.

Admit card:

The admit card will be declared to those candidates whose application form has been accepted. The candidate must bring the admit card to the exam hall and without the admit card the candidate does not allow to the exam hall.

The admit card contains the following

• Date of Birth
• Photograph
• Registration Number
• Name of the exam center
• Exam date
• Reporting time

Result:

The result will be declared only after conducting the exam. The result of the candidates is based on the merit list only. The candidates should log in with their registration number and password to check the result of the candidate.

How to apply for NID 2023?

• Candidates must visit the official website and click on the application form.
• Enter the details in the application form like the name of the candidate, gender, date of birth, caste, and other information.
• Candidates must upload a copy of the documents with their signature and a passport photo.
• Pay the application fee through online mode.
• After finishing the payment process click on the submit button.
• Candidates must take a printout copy of the application form for future reference.
