NIFT Exam 2019, NIFT also know as National Institute of Fashion Technology. It is the premium institution where fashion education is given. NIFT proffers courses on the level of Bachelor and Master’s level in the field of designing and fashion technology. NIFT has been granted statutory status under an act of parliament of India in 2006, empowering the Institute to award degree.

NIFT is a national level examination. Through NIFT examination candidates will get admission in B.Des, B.F.Tech, M.Des and MFM courses. NIFT exam conducted every year. The University will organize CAT-Creative Ability Test and GAT-General Ability Test to offer admission.

NIFT Exam 2019 : Application Form

The application form window will open in the month of November 2018. There is online mode only, there will be no proviso like printed form at all. Along with the application form, make a payment of Rs.5000/- as the payment for the application fee. After form is filled, ensure to take print out of the application form for future reference.

NIFT Exam 2018 : Application Fee Criteria

• Application fee for General/OBC (non-Creamy layer): Rs.1500/-
• Application fee for SC/ST/PHP candidates: Rs.750/-

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for B.Des:

• The maximum age of candidate 23 years as on 1^st October 2019
• Five years age relaxation for reserved category
• 10+2, GCE examination, 3 or 4 years diploma holder are eligible to apply
• Appearing candidates are also eligible for this exam

Eligibility for PG Courses:

Educational Qualification for M.Des/MFM: Under-Graduate degree in any discipline or UG diploma of minimum 3 year duration from NIFT/NID

Education Qualification for M.F.Tech: B.F.Tech from NIFT or BE/B.Tech from any recognized institution.

NIFT Admission 2019

There will be various admission rounds organized like- interview, group discussion and situation test. Students will have to bring the required documents and their photocopies at the time of admission. Seat will be allotted to students on the base of rank list and performance in the admission rounds.
