Complete process to fill Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2023 Application Form

• NVS 9TH CLASS APPLICATION FORM may be submitted from :Second week of October 2023
• Contenders are advised to visit the official Website www.navodaya.gov.in or website of JNVs.
• Last date to fill NVS 9TH CLASS APPLICATION FORM :Will be last week of November 2023
• NVS 9TH CLASS APPLICATION FORM duly completed in all respect must reach at the office address which will soon going to be available in the notification
• Duly filled in application forms must be sent through registered post A/D.

Result of JNVST 2023 Selection Test

• Result of the Selection Test may be determined from the application portal of NVS.
• Result will be notified on the Vidyalaya Notice Board as well as available in the website of JNVs concerned.
• Selected applicant will also be informed by SMS.

Tentative Dates:

• Last Date to apply for Class-IX Lateral Entry Test : Last week of November 2023

Selection Test

Selection Test consist of subjects of Maths, General Science, English and Hindi.

Exam Details

• Exam will be of objective type
• Duration of exam is 2
• Merit List will be announced as per the NVS selection criteria

Reservation

• Existing vacant seats are reserved for the SC/ST students.
• For vacancy position, official site of NVS(HQ) may be referred.

Eligibility Criteria for Class IX Admission

• Only those applicants who are studying Class VIII during the Academic Session 2021-2023 in one of the Govt./Govt. recognized schools of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning and where admission is sought, are eligible.
• Those who are appearing for the admission test must meet the requirements/ pass Class VIII from a Govt./Govt. recognized school in the district where he/she is seeking admission.
• Those who are seeking admission to Navodaya Vidyalayas must be born between 01st May 2003 and 30th April 2007

Test Pattern for Class 9

• Time of duration 2 hours (10:00 AM to 12:30 PM).
• Extra time of 30 minutes will be provided from the competent authority.
• Medium of Language will be English/Hindi.
• Students have to answer in OMR sheet
