Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D. admission 2024 Agra University
Candidates must complete a Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body of the university, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.
Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade and successfully completed the M.Phil Degree shall be eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the degree in the university.
The age relaxation is 5% of marks from 55% to 50% or an equivalent relaxation of grade shall be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC and other categories of candidates as per the rules of the state government from time to time.

Paper-1: Research Methodology
There are 50 multiple choice questions and each question carries 2 marks.

Paper-2
There are fifty multiple choice questions of two marks each and the questions will be based on the syllabus of the NET/JRF examination of UGC/CSIR/ASRB etc.
The exam paper contains 200 marks and there will be no negative markings. Candidates will select an option to attend the exam for a maximum of two subjects if they are eligible for both of them. The entrance test will be held in one sitting.
