About RGUKT
Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) Basar is a unique institution of higher education for teaching in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). It is recognized by the government of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh vide a special act of legislation.
The main objective for the organization of RGUKT is to offer high-quality educational opportunities for rural people of the state. This institute provides various UG and PPG programs such as Integrated B.Tech program and Interdisciplinary M.Tech programme with various streams.
Six years of integrated course is divided into two categories:
Pre University Course (2 years) with MPC stream subjects as follows Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Telugu/ Sanskrit.
B.Tech Course (4 years) with following streams Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
Eligibility Criteria
- Passed SSC or any equivalent exam recognized by the government of Telangana and the Andhra Pradesh States
- Completed the age of 18 years (for ST/SC Candidates 21 years)
- The student should be Indian nationality/ overseas citizen of India/ persons of Indian origin card holders
- International and NRI candidates with a minimum of 70% marks in SSC are eligible for lateral entry into 4 years B.Tech program.
Selection Process:
Selection will be done based on merit in the Grade obtained in each subject in 10th class
Estimate Application Fee
- Application Fee – Rs.200/- (for OBC and BC candidates)
- 150/- (for SC/ST candidates)
- Application Fee should be paid in cash or through online
