SSC CHSL Selection Process 2023 – Tier I

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Pattern

Tier-1 of SSC CHSL exam is an objective test.

This test is of 200 marks.

Important points to remember:

  • Exam is objective type
  • Exam will be conducted online.
  • EXAM comprises four subjects to test the basic knowledge of Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, English language, and General Awareness.
  • Exam consists of 100 questions.
  • 2 marks will be rewarded for each right response
  • -0.50 marks will be removed for every wrong answer.
  • Since there is negative marking, avoid wild estimate answer to improve the score.
  • Questions paper will be set both in English and Hindi.
  • Time duration of exam is 60 minutes.

Important points to remember:

  • Word limit for the essay will be of approx 200-250 words.

SSC CHSL Tier 3 (Skill Test/Typing Test)

This test is meant for checking the practical knowledge of contenders.
