SSC CHSL Selection Process 2023 – Tier I
SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Pattern
Tier-1 of SSC CHSL exam is an objective test.
This test is of 200 marks.

Important points to remember:
- Exam is objective type
- Exam will be conducted online.
- EXAM comprises four subjects to test the basic knowledge of Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, English language, and General Awareness.
- Exam consists of 100 questions.
- 2 marks will be rewarded for each right response
- -0.50 marks will be removed for every wrong answer.
- Since there is negative marking, avoid wild estimate answer to improve the score.
- Questions paper will be set both in English and Hindi.
- Time duration of exam is 60 minutes.
SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam (Descriptive Test)

Important points to remember:
- Exam will be conducted in offline mode.
- Word limit for the essay will be of approx 200-250 words.

- Marks available by you in Tier II would be measured for preparing the merit list.
SSC CHSL Tier 3 (Skill Test/Typing Test)
Applicants will be based on the selection of the post would be either required to appear for a Typing Test or a Data Entry Operator Test.
This test is meant for checking the practical knowledge of contenders.
