SSC SI & ASI IN CISF SELECTION PROCESS 2023 : Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector

SSC Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector SELECTION PROCESS

A). Written Examination: 

  • The written examination will consist of two papers
  • Each paper will have 200 questions
  • For every question, 200 marks will be allocated
  • Duration of Exam: Two Hours.
  • Questions in both papers will of Objective MCQ.
  • Questions will be set in Hindi and English
  • Questions will be divided into Parts A, B, and C of Paper I.
  • In case of discrepancy, the English version will prevail.
  • Negative mark of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
  • Marks received in Paper-I will be used to screen applicants for appearing for PET/ Medical Exam

Note-I: 

  • The commission shall have the judgment to fix diverse minimum qualifying standards in each part
  • Only those candidates, who have to attain above the cut-off marks fixed by the Commission in Paper I would be required to appear in the PET/Medical exam.

B). Physical Endurance Test (PET): 

  • Applicants have to undergo PET / Medical Exam.
  • Only those candidates who secure qualifying marks in Paper I will be shortlisted for Physical Endurance Test (PET)/ PST and medical test.
  • Paper-II of shortlisted candidates who qualify in PST/PET will only be evaluated.

Note: 

  • Applicants will be shortlisted for PET/Medical Examination on the basis of their performance in Paper-I will only be called for Paper-II.
  • Paper-II of only such applicants who qualify in PST/PET will be estimated.
C). Medical Examination: 
  • Applicants who qualify in the PET will be medically examined by the Medical Officer
  • Applicants who will be fit in the medical exam and qualify in the written exam they need to appear in the Interview(Personality Test) of 100 marks.
  • After the written Exam and the Interview /personality test, the Commission will depict up an All India Merit List
  • The commission will recommend the candidates in the Merit List on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained in the written examination and interview/personality test.
Final Selection:

Finally selected applicants for the posts of Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector would, as part of training curriculum

  2. Holding the rope on bounding from the Board. 
  3. Tarzan Swing; 
  4. Jumping on the Horizontal Board; 
  5. Parallel Rope; 
  6. Monkey Crawl; 
  7. Vertical Rope.
