About D.El.Ed

Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) previously known as BTC (Basic Training Certificate) is a year professional diploma programs for Teachers’ education. The main aim of the UP BTC Exam is to prepare teachers for imparting education to the students of class I to VIII.

Applicants should have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Age Criteria:

Age of students who wish to apply must reside in between 18 years to 35 years.

• Applicants may apply only through online mode.
• No physical forms will be made available to students interested in applying.
• Before filling the form, go through the official admission notification thoroughly.  
• Applicants must keep all the required documents and certificates handy while filling the online application form.
• All the details should be filled carefully in the form.
• Students will not be given any chance for correction in the details in the online form once they have submitted the application from this session.   

How to apply for UP BTC Admission 2024?

• Check the procedure for submitting an online application form
• Visit the official portal of UP D.El.Ed i.e. http://updeled.gov.in.
• On the homepage of the portal, you are required to click on “Apply Now”.
• Thereafter press on the new registration link
• You need to fill all the asked details in the fields provided.
• Verify your email and mobile no.
• After verification, the username name and password will be generated.
• Dear students, you can retain the user ID and password till the completion of the application procedure.  
• After successful registration, log in with the new user Id and password generated.
• Fill personal details, education information, and other details in the form.
• Dar students you must be very careful while filling the particulars in the form.  
• After filling details upload the required documents such as a scanned copy of the photo, signature, and other documents as prescribed by the conducting authority in the specified format.
• Pay the prescribed application fee.
• Before the final submission of the form, preview the form and press on the submit button.
• After the successful submission of the application, take a printout of the duly filled application form.
• No need to send the printed copy of the application form to the Board’s office.
